fluoroquinolone active
against a wide range
of Gram-positive
and Gram-negative
pathogens, and some
anaerobes. Levox
is indicated for
acute sinusitis,
acute exacerbation
of bacterial bronchitis,
community-acquired
pneumonia, nosocomial
pneumonia, skin and
skin structure infections,
urinary tract infections
and pyelonephritis.
The oral tablets
come in strengths
of 250 mg, 500
mg and 750 mg levofloxacin,
to be administered
once daily for 5-14
days in adults, according to the condition.
Levox™ is also
available in
vials containing
500 mg/100 mL levofloxacin
solution for intravenous
drip infusion, delivered
at 500-750 mg every
24 hours, for 3-14
days, as needed.

orally administered tablets contain 200 mg or 400 mg ofloxacin, indicated for
the treatment of lower respiratory tract infections, sexually transmitted
diseases, skin and skin structure infections, and urinary tract and enteric
infections. The recommended dose (200-400 mg every 12 hours) and duration of
treatment (ranging from 1 day to 6 weeks) should be determined according to the
condition. Inoflox® is also available in vials containing 200 mg/100mL
ofloxacin for intravenous drip infusion at 100-400 mg every 12 hours for 1-10
days, as needed.

A sterile aqueous solution for otic use, containing 3 mg/mL
(0.3%) ofloxacin, a wide spectrum antibacterial agent of the fluoroquinolone
class providing coverage against Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria.
Inoflox eardrops are indicated for the treatment of acute and chronic purulent
otitis media, and acute exacerbation of chronic purulent otitis
media and otitis externa. The recommended dose is 3-5 drops
(for adults) or 1-3 drops (for children) twice daily for 7-14 days.

An anti-fibrinolytic agent, indicated for prompt and effective
control of hemorrhage in various surgical procedures, obstetrical and
gynecological conditions (postpartum hemorrhage), dental surgery and tooth
extraction, and medical conditions (epistaxis, hematuria, hemorrhaging peptic
ulcer, etc.) Hemostan® contains tranexamic acid, which exhibits
anti-fibrinolytic effect thereby promoting fibrin and clot stability. It is
available in 250 mg and 500 mg capsules, to be taken every 6 to 8 hours. The
ampules, containing 250 mg/2.5 mL and 500 mg/5 mL of tranexamic acid, can be
administered by I.V./I.M. injection or by intravenous drip infusion as required
during or after surgery.
