Cravit® is a synthetic antibacterial agent containing
levofloxacin, a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone effective against a wide range
of Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens. It is indicated for acute
maxillary sinusitis, acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis,
community-acquired pneumonia, uncomplicated skin and skin-structure infections,
complicated urinary tract infections, and acute pyelonephritis. Cravit i.v. 500
mg is a ready-to-use solution containing 500 mg of levofloxacin/100 mL. It
should be administered intravenously by slow infusion over a period of not less
than 60 minutes every 24 hours.
